What's been happening in Room 109!

Over the past few weeks, students have been playing lots of math games. We've been working on counting, and identifying numbers.  Some of the games we've played that you can ask your child about are:
1) Tenzies
2) Roll and Build
3) Race to fill the cup
4) Higher Number
5) Hidden Gem

Students have been exploring different centres and writing about their creations. In our dramatic centre, we've been working hard at our Pizza Shop and students have been exploring many elements of Fall at our art studio (i.e., leaves, gourds, apples and pumpkins)

Upcoming important dates:

Wednesday October 26: Picture Day and Take me Outside Day (we will be going outside for 1 hour) 

Friday October 28: P.A Day (No school) 

Monday October 31: Halloween 

Students are invited to dress up in costumes. Please note they will be going outside for recess in their costumes so we recommend they wear something warm underneath. No masks or weapons are allowed. 

More information will be sent home next week.
