Unique like a snowflake!

We've had a busy start to December! This month our special helper of the day can bring in something from celebrations/traditions that may be celebrated at home to share with our class. Our children have been asking lots of questions and we have all been learning together!

We have started learning about 2d and 3d shapes this week. We started by going on a shape hunt around the school. Here are some real-life examples of shapes in our school:

We have also been doing lots of colour/science experiments. We started by freezing primary colours as ice cubes and then mixing them together to see the new colour. Our children were amazed!

We also brought cabbage and added it to food colouring. We are waiting to see what will happen....

Towards the end of the week, we got snow! It was magical, students were excited to play outside and explore.  Next week, we will be looking at snowflakes in more detail and creating our own special/unique snowflakes.

We are hoping to see everybody next Friday for our School Movie Night. We will be watching Finding Dory!  Don't forget to send in your RSVP.

Have a magical weekend with your loved ones!
