Crunching, crinkling, Autumn leaves...

Fall weather is upon us!! Please dress your child for the weather as we do go outside daily for recess and outdoor learning.

1) Johnny Lombardi has a nut-free environment. Please read all food labels before sending in snacks. We have students with severe nut allergies!
2) Please record your borrow-a-book everyday on the log sheet.
3) Next week is a short week. Friday is a P.A. Day

Here are some pictures from this week:

We sorted and counted all of our contents from our colour scavenger hunt! Thank you to all of our families for participating. We have started creating our art colour wall in the classroom.

The art table was very popular! Students used their knowledge of primary colours to create secondary colours when creating a fall tree. As the months continue, we will continue to explore colour.

Some students were scientists this week and were interested in observing our science experiment? Questions were posed to the students: What do you think will happen?, Why is the midlde jar empty? What will happen to the colours?

We have also been interested in birthday parties so we decided to read Dr.Seuss' Birthday Book and have students plan their own party.
We made guest lists.

We started changing our drama centre! We voted and the winner was a BAKERY named Sweet Shop!
Here are some friends creating money:

We also started signing in on the smartboard by answering a question:

Stay warm this weekend! We will see you on Monday!
