Remembrance Day is on November 11 and its marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month back in 1918. On Friday, students at JLPS acknowledged this day.
Our students worked really hard this week creating our poppy wreath. We read books about peace and the importance of Remembrance day.Our beautiful co-constructed wreath! |
We continued exploring worms and learned that worms have no eyes and 5 hearts! They love the wet weather and only come out then.
During outdoor learning time, we created using loose parts and went on a walk to look at our surroundings.
J.D. used sticks to write his name! |
Inspired from Ms.Wolfstadt and Ms. Karia, we went to go look at this tree that had berries! |
We had our first snowfall this week and learned our dressing for winter song! Please practice at home.
