JLPS Lights It Up

On Tuesday, we celebrated Autism Awareness Month by having a cupcake sale, a short assembly and a school wide walk. A beautiful video was shown on how we are all unique and so amazing. We raised our flags proud and took them with us on our walk. 

Even though it doesn't feel like Spring outside, we got busy planting indoors. Students have been bringing in seeds (thank you families) and we have planted a few of them. We are very curious and have been asking lots of questions. We are excited to see the progress on Monday after the weekend. 
Ask your child what we planted and if they have any questions! 

Special Helper Activity: 
The next special helper activity was sent home on Friday. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us. We will be showing an example of a shoe-box story to the students in a few weeks.
