Fun Day at the Kortright!

We had a great time at the Kortright Centre! We started the day with a brief intorduction to many holidays that are celebrated all around the world (i.e., Christmas, Diwali, Rosh Hashanah and more) and we got to touch some real animal fur. We then went outdoors and sat by a camp fire while eating popcorn and singing songs, we went on a walk looking for chickadee's and woodpeckers, we decorated some evergreen trees and then went back inside to create our own special candle and play with some pioneer toys! We also learned about some myths and legends, ask your child if he/she remembers any! 

Thank you to A.R's mom and J.D.'s dad for accompanying us! There will be a couple more trips this year! :)
