Hello December

On Friday, we said hello to December in our PJs! Students in our class had lots of fun learning in their PJs, and baking! In addition to all of this fun, students got to fill a backpack with the important items we received for our Winter Needs Drive, for someone in need. We talked about how this was an important and special experience!

We've been learning lots about letters and cards. Students expressed their creativity at the art centre by creating beautiful birthday cards for Mrs. Sierra! Next week, a special visitor will be coming to stay in our class until the Winter break, stay tuned!

In math, we finished our small group learning about sorting and graphing. We will start learning about patterning. Patterns are everywhere, start having conversations with your child about them and ask them what patterns they can find at home!
Spatial Sense activity: can you fill this cookie sheet with pentominos?

We made a graph using ourselves! We sorted and graphed by hair colour!

This week, we had lots of fun playing with new puzzles and of course building with magna-tiles (our most popular activity).

We co-created our December calendar!
Friendly Reminders:
Thursday December 7th is BINGO Night!

Friday December 8th is WACKY HAIR DAY!

We can't wait to see your wackiest do!

Have a wonderful week!
