Getting Messy

Happy Saturday! We hope you're having a great day!

This week, our students have been getting hands-on and messy! We started the week by discussing the importance of healthy eating, not only for our bodies but our teeth! Eating healthy food such as fruits and vegetables and drinking water and milk is one way we get stronger!

We decided to conduct an experiment to see what would happen to our teeth when we eat items with too much sugar or pop. Students made predictions of what would happen and will continue to visit and investigate next week.

Students also had the opportunity to make playdough this week with Ms.Futia! They loved following directions and taking turns. Here is the link for the recipe so you can try it at home...Playdough

In math, we've been exploring 3D and 2D shapes. We built, play games and used shapes to create snowflakes.

Our drama centre is changing to a Pizza Shop. We started to brainstorm some of the things we will need.
