Patiently Waiting...

This week, our eggs from Green Acres arrived. We have been reading lots of books, visiting the incubator daily, asking lots of questions and patiently waiting! 
Day 21 is the magic number so we are hoping we will have some new friends soon! 

   

      

For outdoor learning this week, we went on a nature scavenger hunt and a listening walk. It's amazing how much we can hear when we take a moment to appreciate nature. 

   

 

  

We also visited Ms.Romanelli's Grade 1 class and a few friends of ours from last year to look at the structures they created. Friends loved seeing past classmates, it was lots of fun.

 

We introduced our class Gnome! The gnome is to raise awareness of mental health. We named our Gnome, Sunshine!

Our pet shop also opened! It's definitely a popular centre. 

   

Ms. Velocci did a lesson with our class on what is a small/medium/big problem. We came up with examples for each and discussed different ways to solve the problem inside the classroom and during recess. Please ask your child about them.
