Sun is shining!

It's been a beautiful sunny week! We have started going back outdoors for outdoor learning. Learning in the outdoors is part of our Ontario Curriculum. It's very valuable, engaging and crucial to child development. At times, we will build using loose parts or blocks, read a story, sit in our sit spots, do yoga, write in our journals and more! Below are some pictures of our week, enjoy!

Updates:
Lion King: Students worked really hard and did a wonderful job performing! Thank you to all the teachers who worked so hard putting this play together! Reminder that tickets are still available for today (Thursday) and Friday.

Our baskets are now displayed in the front foyer of our school. Tickets will be sold until May 31st and the draw will take place on June 1st.
Prices: $2.00-1 tickets, $5.00-3 tickets, $10-8 tickets.

Please return the yellow sheets regarding our special visitors arriving next week as soon as possible.

Tomorrow is Dress Loud Day. To show support for those with hearing loss, we are asking our students to dress in bright colours, wacky patterns and over-the-top fashion choices! For each student who participates will earn a point for their house colour team.

We are also looking for recycled materials again, please send in boxes (cereal, juice, tissue) that you may have. Thank you :)

We had a wonderful week, we hope you did too!
Happy Mother's Day!
